TOPIC: Monty Python's economic lesson

Monty Python's economic lesson 1 Year ago Karma: 193
Not only do I think this is absolutely one of the funniest Monty Python skits, but it has SEVERAL useful lessons for us precious metals investors.

Watch the video FIRST, then check out the questions below:

First of all, as you watched "Dennis Moore" stealing all of those ridiculous paper "lupins" from people, ask yourself this: what's the difference between a "lupin" and a U.S. dollar?

And note that after Dennis Moore had showered the poor with his "lupins" what was their response? Were they GRATEFUL for being given all that paper? No, instead they wanted something that was EITHER useful OR valuable - and their paper was NEITHER.

Because as soon as they had accumulated a large enough HOARD of the paper the poor understood that the paper was worthless...

And then there was also a lot of good commentary on our social classes.
