"Personal attack" is the last refuge of the propagandist - not to mention being one of the baser means of influencing people.

Sadly, it's SUCCESS means we will never be rid of this "yellow journalism". This is why it's so important for people to have a general understanding of the RULES of logic/argument - so that when they see illegitimate rebuttals of this nature they simply tune them out.

1. Personal attacks.
2. "Straw man" arguments.
3. Anecdotal evidence.

Those are likely the three primary means which liars use in trying to illegitimately influence people. Then there is "disinformation", which takes lying and subterfuge to a whole new level of complexity/deviousness.

P.S. Note that there is the DISTINCT possibility that this entire story is simply a disinformation exercise, which would proceed as follows:

1) Plant some (bogus) "evidence" with a known Don Quixote-like figure (Lord James of Blackheath).

2) Allow the story time to circulate.

3) Come out with NEW INFORMATION which totally discredits the story.

Why engage in an exercise like this which would (temporarily) ATTRACT attention to the massive scams of the banksters?

One of the Golden Rules of disinformation is to create a BOGUS VERSION of some "secret" which you are trying to hide. You then EXPOSE the bogus version of the secret - which permanently discredits this "conspiracy" in the eyes of the general public.

This then ALLOWS the perpetrators of the secret crime to CONTINUE to engage in the act of crime - knowing that most people will now NEVER believe the "conspiracy" to be true after the previous disinformation operation.

This is the favorite strategy of the propagandists in the (supposed) debate on "global warming"...

Lord James is an expert on money-laundering who worked for the BOE. Are we really expected to believe that he or his circle of friends would actually fall or be unaware of this crude scam or any other of this nature?

He points out that if it is a scam (he is aware that it could the case),then the perpertrators and motives of it are themselves of importance.

If it is a dis-information exercise, then he himself is in on it.

He does point out, however, that HSBC and RBS ACTUALLY OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED THE 15 TRILLION DOLLAR TRANSFER that the BOE steered well clear of.

He is either a) lying or b) HSBC and RBS are in on the "scam"

Maybe the reason they are using Riyadi himself for their counterfeiting purposes is that they can scapegoat him.

As you say Jeff, NO ONE can deny that 100s of trillions of dollars are unaccounted for.

Just occurred to me that the Banksters could well have used Riyadi, the Fed pretending that it was "taken in" by him (as if competent fraudsters would actually try to fleece the world`s most important central bank.
Declare it as a fraud and THEN PRETEND THAT THE COUNTERFEITED MONEY HAS BEEN TAKEN BACK AND DESTROYED.

Yes Dylan, as I mentioned in replying to comments on the article itself, people like Riyadi make PERFECT "middlemen" for these sorts of shadowy transactions. You insert these people into the MIDDLE of one of these money-laundering chains - and then make it look like they are the start of the chain.

As for your comment that if this is disinformation that Lord James himself must be "in on it" too, I don't agree. If it was a disinformation operation they would be able to produced PERFECTLY forged documents, because the same people are the ones issuing real/legitimate documents. So there would be no way for Lord James to distinguish any (bogus) evidence which had been planted from bona fide documents.

Note these people would WANT the disinformation operation to use PERFECT forgeries. That way if someone (later) stumbles upon the REAL FRAUD taking place in the Treasuries market - and comes up with the bona fide documents - the propagandists will simply claim they are "more clever forgeries"...
