More Bernanke B.S. 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 24
Apparently Bernanke is speaking at 1:00 today-
lets see the last few days he has sent out some of his boys and girls to hint of more QE to get the markets back up---The week before that he sent some of his people out to imply there would be no more QE and down they went..
so anyone want to venture a guess at what garbage will come out of his mouth this time.
My guess would be if the markets are still down he will imply that the FED is still open to more if things turn south again---give me a break ,with the FED pumping tens of trillions into the economy the past 3 years it still stinks...
Don't you just love these free markets !!!!

Nice to see you on the forum again Rdisrael!

I see the Fed-heads now as nothing but a collection of vacuous parrots - being deliberately sent out to issue CONTRADICTORY messages on a regular basis. On virtually a DAILY basis, we have one Fed-head being trotted out to say "the money-printing is finished", and then literally the NEXT day they'll send out another clown to say the EXACT OPPOSITE.

Then with the King of Clowns, Bernanke himself, one week HE is saying he's finished with the money-printing, the next week he says he's not so sure (LOL!!).

This is a VERY simple game:

1) Confuse the sheep. What is the ONLY thing easier to scam than a sheep? A "deer in the headlights".

So continually talk out of BOTH SIDES of your mouth and you PARALYZE the sheep, turning them into the proverbial deer-in-the-headlights.

2) Control the message. With the propaganda machine LITERALLY having a monopoly on our news (unless you go OUTSIDE the mainstream), they can continually contradict themselves in this manner, and then when something dramatic actually HAPPENS they ONLY quote the half of the propaganda which was CORRECT - while ignoring the other half which was totally incorrect.

This has been a consistent pattern with B.S. Bernanke since the day he took over from the shill Greenspan. When was the last time you heard anyone from the mainstream "remember" Bernanke promises like "the Goldilocks economy", "the soft landing", or "the exit strategy"???

Recall that when I have talked about propaganda/disinformation/brainwashing that one of the constant and central objectives of this campaign is strictly to "create noise". In addition to accomplishing the specific objectives I've already mentioned, there is another more general objective.

When you create NOISE, (by definition) you are DROWNING OUT other voices in the media - which obviously includes all of us OUTSIDE the mainstream.

Broadcasting all of this noise not only makes it harder for others to "hear us" here at BBC, but it wastes a tremendous amount of our time and energy RESPONDING TO THE NOISE.

Monday a Fed-head says there will be more money-printing. We respond.
Tuesday a DIFFERENT Fed-head says there will NOT be more money-printing. We respond.

THEY outnumber the resources of our own site (and the rest of the non-mainstream media) by 100:1. And if we take the time to respond to BOTH Fed-heads we have WASTED our time/resources - since our readers are (if anything) MORE confused reading the same point argued in reverse manner, on consecutive days.

My OWN strategy here is NOT to play that game. I ignore the day-to-day Fed noise. There is NOTHING of substance which ever comes out of it. Indeed, with interest rates permanently frozen at 0%, and the Fed (falsely) claiming that it is NOT currently printing money, officially the Fed is a toothless tiger doing nothing but "jawboning" - the last refuge of the totally incompetent.

The fact that the markets can be moved (on a daily basis) on the basis of totally contradictory "jawboning" is NOT proof - as the propagandists claim - that the Fed is somehow omnipotent. Rather, it is only evidence of the way the sheep can be EASILY herded in one direction one day, and then the OPPOSITE direction the next (by the Wall Street shepherds).

Indeed, the propaganda machine OVER-USES these talking-heads to such a ridiculous extent that they are essentially neutralizing each other. Even the SHEEP begin to notice being fed totally contradictory messages on a daily basis.

With intellects which have ALREADY been severely stunted by decades of brainwashing, their tiny brains start to "hurt" when they try to PROCESS these contradictory messages. The INEVITABLE consequence is that soon the sheep will completely ignore the Fed-heads...
