Hi Debsyl....

1)correct that it was only a matter of expression when re: the underlined above. I am presupposing that the gov't is both bankrupt and perpetually hiding their Ponzi scheme and when the debt gets too high - they won't be able to hide it well since i assume MORE then 1 out of 6 will be on food stamps...
2)I have been listening to Sinclair for a long time as well. And agree, with your husband. I WONDER WHAT an America will be like with 3500 or higher gold...i suppose that would mean that the dollar will continue to get trashed. And whilst that occurs -can other countries confidence in the 'dollar' still be the same? I dunno. I don't know WHEN shit hits the fan - maybe its when gold hits 10k..... I will leave it to others and just say this...

I think we will witness an ever GREATER transferrence of wealth at that time. Much greater then now. As most people will lose their wealth and then the superwealthy can come pick it up dirt cheap. This is shocking.

I believe, also, that Sinclair and Jim Nielson here know exactly what they are talking.

My nephew said something to me several years ago. And i believed it then and believe it now is the profoundest truth Debsyl. That THINGS WILL NOT CHANGE UNTIL THEY ARE SO BAD THEY HAVE TO CHANGE. Its almost incredible to me how sheepish the American public is. That they can play Bush/Obama off as if its a yankee/dodger game is incredible. Obama, sad to say, is continuing the legacy of Bush JMO. I guess we just have to wait till most people go to the bank and see that --- as Max Keiser would say --- they can used the 'dollar' as their toilet paper?

Jeff, i believe there is a Ponzi scheme occurring. I think it a matter, mostly of greed. That is the main theme. Yet....i just want to say we shouldn't discount some other themes occurring in the world. Such as a huge increase in population and automation which pose legitimate threats to employment.

The problem as i see it is that the 'party' in Congress and the Oligarchs are unable or unwilling to comprehend and take action on enormous changes going forward. I agree that it probably is because they are satuarated with greed. Capitalism. Its almost as if the Mafia is still not aware that there violence is adversely correlated to their own health as an organization.

The endgame, i guess, is that these central planners at the Fed and Congress, have been so manifestly negligent in planning a good society for SO MANY years - that they HAVE to kick the can down the road. And only hope it doesn't stop when they are in office. I think the endgame is when the Fed loses the ability to control interest rates - and then its curtains. We go thru a depression and the cycle starts all over again....is this how you or others see it - am i getting warm?

Agua....i think you presaging event is right on! Sounds like an Orwellian theme.

But what about the progress of military technology? When i was a kid - my friend, Stevie, was able to bring into classroom a small transistor radio! This was big news. It was 6 or 9 transistors. And he was able to listen to Whitey Ford pitch in the World Series on it....Fast forward years later and Mujahadeen are given RPGs by the USA to defeat the mighty USSR.......

How far will miniaturization go? Will someday those same Islamic warriors (and i am not singling them out as the USA, in my opinion has been far more violent) be able to slip a small shell into the RPG full of 'nuke' and blow away some community/nation?

Quite apart from the fact that the nations leaders are not acting responsibly - there are incredible advancements that we, as a world, need to make adjustments for before they are allowed to continue.

Of course, i think that climate, is the greatest threat and one mosts people are not making the necessary 'adjustment' for. That is one issue, i think that Obama, is shamelessly lied to the public on...

Another example of how bringing interesting things to the Forum not only provides the gist for good discussions, but often end up finding their way into my commentaries.
