Yes, Brian. There would NOT have been the same tone to the closing ceremonies if Canada had took home silver. For us hockey hard-liners it would have been more like a wake.

That was a great scrap. Both teams can hold their heads up high. Glad ya'll one, I would have hated to see the closing ceremonies with that much pouting going on.

That was a great game, almost too cliche, In a good way though.

Great game! I'll say this: the U.S. demonstrated that they deserved to be playing for the gold. They all played like "Canadians" (lol).

I hope my Canadian brothers play as well as they are capable of. That may be gold worthy, or not. Time will tell. Good scrap regardless!

I know that "some people" around here would have gotten a lot more surly if Canada got knocked-out of the Olympic hockey tournament in the quarter-finals on "HOME ICE"!
