Earl, it will take me a while to unearth anything of SUBSTANCE in what is (undoubtedly) a(nother) steaming, mound of lies. What I'll note for now is just a simple observation. I knew just from the title of your post that you were bringing us either propaganda or disinformation -- simply from the use of the word "credit" in the same line as "dollar".

The word "credit" always has a positive connotation in people's minds, even when used as a EUPHEMISM FOR DEBT, as we (once again) with this propaganda. I can illustrate this by simply 'translating' the first line of these banker-lies:

[quote]Banks and bond investors have extended $9 trillion of US dollar credit to non-bank borrowers outside the United States.[/i]

Oooh! "$9 trillion of credit" -- sounds good. Now let's translate it:

Non-bank borrowers outside the U.S. have taken on $9 trillion of U.S. dollar debt.

We look at the translation, and immediately the words "debt bubble" leap to mind. Note that this is only non-bank borrowing. How many $TRILLIONS of USD borrowing has been done by the banks? We don't know because (as always) the Criminals won't tell us, and our pretend-regulators consider it "rude" to ask.

Thus at least superficially; this is a classic illustration of the Wonderland Matrix. Hide as much information as they can from us, and what they can't hide they PERVERT with their Machiavellian language.

rroush,

It's all political theater, whether from Republicans or from Democrats, and don't even try to say one is worse than the other, they are both different sides of the SAME COIN. Bought and paid for by the "One Bank".

They are indeed both sides of the same coin. It makes sense then that they fund BOTH sides of the debate.

We can be more categorical than that, Dylan. This crime syndicate ALWAYS "plays both sides" in all of its scams. You must (at least attempt to) control both sides of an issue if you want to Control The Message (which is always a top priority of the banksters).

Providing (some) "evidence" of the Banksters playing the Other Side doesn't begin to qualify as conclusive. The question is WHICH SIDE does the One Bank want to "win"?

Here we go right back to "follow the money". The Banksters' rapacious, out-of-control industrialization is the nexus more its MULTI-QUADRILLION empire of crime. Conversely, even if it actually did create all the "carbon tax-credit" conspiracies we see in their laughable disinformation; they could only make a TINY FRACTION of that amount as The Green Bank rather than the One Bank.

This is the same argument which is also always decisive, any time anyone suggests that the Banksters are "going long" in precious metals (lol!). The paltry $trillions they could potentially reap by pushing-up precious metals prices could never compensate them for the $100's of TRILLIONS they would lose when rising gold/silver prices torpedoed all of their paper frauds.

Going "green" (no matter how the One Bank corrupted the movement) is not entirely evil. And there is ALWAYS more/easier profits to be made through being completely/unequivocally evil than there is through engaging in quasi-legitimate activities.

We see the proof of this merely by looking around. The One Bank's crimes continue to get more and more evil, by the day. They will ALWAYS choose "the Evil option" in any/all of their 'enterprises'.

<sarcasm>It's official, Climate change is REAL</sarcasm>

US Senate: Yes, climate change is real
Washington (AFP) - In a surprise move, US Senate Republicans joined Democrats and went on record Wednesday acknowledging that climate change is real.

The symbolic amendment, attached to a controversial bill authorizing contruction (sic) of the Keystone XL oil pipeline, was approved 98-1 after Senator James Inhofe, seen as the top climate change denier in Congress, announced he was supporting the legislation.

Hrm... 98-1 is almost unanimous, but it's not so I'm sure it doesn't count.

PS. Please don't take this post too seriously, as you'll be able to poke holes in it so big as to be able to pass an oil pipeline through it... but I just couldn't resist.

Rroush, given that we're dealing with 100 Compulsive Liars; it's not helpful to get your "coverage" from the Corporate media -- another collection of Compulsive Liars. The article below from The Guardian is more constructive, starting with the title:

US Senate refuses to accept humanity's role in global climate change, again

Obviously they can't have done this "again" if they had not voted against global warming in the past. Then we have this:

The Senate voted virtually unanimously that climate change is occurring and not, as some Republicans have said, a hoax – but it defeated two measures attributing its causes to human activity.

Two points here. First these Liars have previously tried to pretend that there was no global warming (ice melting, seas rising) at all. The fact that they have flip-flopped here because the evidence is so overwhelmingly undeniable does NOT rehabilitate their credibility in any way.

The other point is that after the only vote that mattered (acknowledging the reality of global warming); they had two votes on what I've already explained is totally IRRELEVANT: whether it is humanity's "fault" that the planet is getting warmer. Two votes to obscure, confuse, and create IMAGINARY ROADBLOCKS.

But beyond the fact we have Compulsive Liars voting on irrelevant issues in order to create confusion and obstruct progress; we have this:

But Republicans have grown canny about being called out as climate deniers. For the Republican party leadership the current preferred phrase now is: “I am not a scientist” – which casts doubt but avoids outright denial...

When do the Republican Liars use their line "I am not a scientist"? When someone asks them questions about global warming. Here's the point. You can't use the line "I am not a scientist" to avoid answering simple questions about global warming, but STILL participate in an OFFICIAL VOTE in the Senate, intended to form SCIENTIFIC CONCLUSIONS.

Any/every Republican who uses the line "I am not a scientist" is logically required to ABSTAIN from any scientific votes. But none of them abstained, in any of the votes. So we have the Liars implicitly demonstrating that this is all just political theater -- and none of it has any validity.

Voting to acknowledge global warming, but refusing to acknowledge humanity's role effectively BLOCKS any/all action -- as long as the Liars can continue to perpetrate their political theater that this MATTERS (when it is really completely irrelevant).

Any objective/logical assessment of what is taking place here can only arrive at the conclusion that this is all fraudulent political theater, where many of the Actors are knowingly/deliberately engaging in simple obstructionism: lie, stall, sabotage. It's not only "theater", it's a disgustingly repetitive re-run.

US Senate refuses to accept humanity's role in global climate change, again

www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/jan...-global-warming-hoax

Senators accept global warming is not a hoax but fail to recognise human activity is to blame, nearly 27 years after scientists laid out man’s role

It is nearly 27 years now since a Nasa scientist testified before the US Senate that the agency was 99% certain that rising global temperatures were caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

And the Senate still has not got it – based on the results of three symbolic climate change votes on Wednesday night.

The Senate voted virtually unanimously that climate change is occurring and not, as some Republicans have said, a hoax – but it defeated two measures attributing its causes to human activity.

Only one Senator, Roger Wicker, a Republican from Mississippi, voted against a resolution declaring climate change was real and not – as his fellow Republican, Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma once famous declared – a hoax. That measure passed 98 to one.

But the Senate voted down two measures that attributed climate change to human activity – and that is far more important...

Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Re: Billionaire Says We Need to Live On LESS in the forums.
Thanks for the posts, DayOwl!

They provide excellent context for me to illustrate the general paradigm of lies-and-corruption in which we live. First we have our governments allowing the banksters to (literally) steal all our wealth with their fraudulent/illegal money-printing. For any who missed my analogy about Gilligan's Island and "coconut dollars", I'll repeat it again.

The Seven Castaways are stranded on Gilligan's Island. But being the banker-like individual that he is; Thurston Howell III brought along his own printing-press for the cruise (you NEVER know when you'll need one). As the island's "economy" starts to develop; Mr. Howell suggests they need their own island currency -- which he calls "the coconut dollar. And Mr. Howell offers to run the island's "central bank", i.e. HE has total control over the printing press.

To begin with; Mr. Howell is an "honest banker". That's because when you run some "con", you always have to start off by creating some veneer of legitimacy. So originally; all of the castaways are given 10 coconut dollars to use in their commerce each week.

One day; Mr. Howell gravely acknowledges that the Island is facing "an economic crisis", and (he tells them) that supposedly the only way to deal with the crisis is with "quantitative easing". What does that mean? The other six Castaways continue to get 10 coconut dollars each week, while Mr. Howell (the recipient of all "QE") gets 100 coconut dollars each week.

What happens then? With LOTS of coconut dollars (and effectively infinite coconut dollars); Mr. Howell starts to offer to pay higher prices for all of the island's goods -- because HE (alone) can afford to pay more. So even though the Castaways have the same, nominal incomes as before, they have become much, much poorer.

Mr. Howell can afford to pay ten times more for EVERYTHING (because the MONEY SUPPLY has increased by a factor of ten), meaning that the coconut dollars are effectively only worth 1/10th as much as before. Mr. Howell has created a system to STEAL 90% of the Castaways wealth, in perpetuity. Of course to make this analogy a closer fit to the real world; Mr. Howell would have also had to MANUFACTURE the "economic crisis" which led to his "QE" stealing.

Now look at our own, crime syndicate economy. The One Bank has access to $100 TRILLION, for free, every year. Meanwhile, the Little People toil away for average incomes of roughly $50,000/year.

This is one hundred trillion dollars:

$100,000,000,000,000

This is fifty thousand dollars:

$50,000

The one number is TWO BILLION times greater than the other. By giving themselves effectively infinite amounts of free money, they make all our money WORTHLESS. For every PENNY we earn in our lives; the One Bank is given $20 MILLION, for free. Indeed, the PENNY is now officially worthless in Canada, and has been removed from circulation. Conversely, one can still do quite a bit of shopping (i.e. stealing) with $20 million in ILLEGAL DOLLARS.

This means that they (like the Gilligan's island allegory) are able to STEAL ALL OUR WEALTH, in perpetuity, as we earn it. But even this isn't enough for the Thieves, as we see with the propaganda supplied with DayOwl. The Thieves don't simply want to FREEZE our nominal incomes (as they drive the value of those incomes steadily toward zero) they want to LOWER our nominal incomes -- thus accelerating the speed at which they steal EVERYTHING.

And this is reflected in DayOwl's comment about the Thieves stealing "the value of our labour". It's classic bait-and-switch. As employees, we're offered "X" dollars per year to do our jobs.

While "X" remains the same, in purely nominal terms, the value of "X" steadily/rapidly plunges to zero. The Thieves CONCEAL their rapacious stealing with their lies claiming "there is no inflation" -- while they eat their $43 hot dogs.

P.S. DayOwl did the same thing I sometimes do with my own text-links (lol), and instead of providing the ZeroHedge link, she linked to her own post (that's why it doesn't work). Here's the ZeroHedge link:

$43 Hot Dogs; $47 Burgers And $55 Caesar Salads: A Look At The Davos Menu
www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-01-23/43-hot...lads-look-davos-menu

P.S. As a final reminder; all of these Liar-Thieves already know that it is THEIR incomes, and THEIR wealth which is extremely excessive. To begin to iron-out this obscene, rapacious inequality (as I noted recently); we would have to confiscate at least 98% of their ill-gotten hoards.

Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Russia did NOT cut-off gas to Europe in the forums.
...and now I'm really glad I didn't write a commentary on this subject, as we learn that Russia has NOT cut off gas shipments to Europe (from Paul Craig Roberts).

Clearly, this was a major disinformation exercise, as sites like Zero Hedge generally do not "bite" on anything unless they consider it substantive. So was there ANY kernel of truth beneath the disinformation? All that I can find is an article about Bloomberg, where Russia is PLANNING to divert its gas supplies through Turkey rather than shipping gas through Ukraine.

Russia Did Not Cut Off Gas

beforeitsnews.com/economics-and-politics...roberts-2472538.html

The reports from the UK Daily Mail and from Zero Hedge that Russia has cut off natural gas deliveries to six European countries must be incorrect. These sources are credible and well-informed, but such a cut-off would have instantly produced political and financial turmoil of which there is no sign. Therefore, unless there is a news blackout, Russia’s action has been misunderstood...

Russia to Shift Ukraine Gas Transit to Turkey as EU Cries Foul

www.bloomberg.com/news/2015-01-14/russia...s-eu-cries-foul.html

Russia plans to shift all its natural gas flows crossing Ukraine to a route via Turkey, a surprise move that the European Union’s energy chief said would hurt its reputation as a supplier.

The decision makes no economic sense, Maros Sefcovic, the European Commission’s vice president for energy union, told reporters today after talks with Russian government officials and the head of gas exporter, OAO Gazprom (GAZP), in Moscow.

Gazprom, the world’s biggest natural gas supplier, plans to send 63 billion cubic meters through a proposed link under the Black Sea to Turkey, fully replacing shipments via Ukraine, Chief Executive Officer Alexey Miller said during the discussions. About 40 percent of Russia’s gas exports to Europe and Turkey travel through Ukraine’s Soviet-era network...

I'm glad that Dylan replied to this post, since it reminded me that I had forgotten to get to it myself. And obviously any post with the words "income inequality" in the title is a must-read for me.

Isn't this typical of how so much in our societies has been (literally) perverted: turned into its opposite by one or more segments of the Establishment. This sort of social disease is endemic with fascism, or any other form of tyranny. The goal is to corrupt anything-and-everything so that people will simply focus on corruption outside of government itself, OR (where possible) to get newly-corrupted entities to actually serve the Establishment -- as we see here.

The point here however that this process can (at least in theory) work in reverse, where we purge the corruption from some segment of our system, and then use that newly-purged faction against the Banksters, perhaps to purge corruption in more areas.

Humanity has progressed significantly in terms of being ready/willing to treat each other in a more civilized. Unfortunately, because the Psychopaths are continually stoking new conflicts -- both external and internal -- it becomes very hard to SEE that progress. Should we ever rid ourselves of this Crime Syndicate; I suspect humanity would immediately enter what would later be described as "a Golden Age".
07:22 PM
The really unfortunate part is that in order for the Psychopath's false-flag attacks (and their "War on Terror") to remain CREDIBLE to the Zombies, there also has to be a steady stream of real (innocent) victims. And they SPREAD AROUND their body counts.

The Thugs whom the propaganda machine now call "ISIS" started off killing Muslims in Libya, if we believe the narrative from SCGnews, and I found it to be well-researched, well-documented, and presented in a very convincing manner. Next they're killing more Muslims, this time in Syria. Then they're in Iraq, and engaging in "ethnic cleansing", where (as Debsyl pointed out) the Western-funded Thugs are now killing Christians as well. Next thing you know, a few of the Thugs pop-up in France.

We know that the One Bank was arming and funding both sides during World War II. So it would be nothing but "business as usual" for them to STILL be arming/funding "ISIS", while simultaneously turning loose the U.S. war-machine on them.
07:09 PM
P.P.S. Given that this is satire: I wonder if "Harland Dorrinson" is actually an anagram of some sort?

I'm no good at figuring out those sorts of puzzles, so if anyone else can come up with something (interesting) here, please post it.

Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Re: The Daily Grind in the forums.
Once again; I'm choosing to put an "update" on the paper bullion markets here (where we have a couple of years of "context" to go along with it) rather than simply doing a new/separate post on the Forum.

We have had TWO extremely significant monetary events this week, just days apart. First it was Switzerland demonstrating that the euro is WORTHLESS, through ending its (suicidal) currency-peg to the euro...

Swiss De-Pegging Reveals Worthless Western Currencies

This was undoubtedly a surprise for the One Bank (i.e. Switzerland's government did NOT ask for prior permission to do this). We know this because of the magnitude of moves in these fraudulent "markets". With its Master Trading Algorithm; the One Bank can almost TOTALLY suppress moves in markets based on changes in economic fundamentals -- even enormous fundamental changes. Thus if the One Bank had known about (and authorized) this move; there would have been a MUCH smaller leap in value by the franc against the euro.

Now we have the second momentous event: MORE "QE", this time the euro. As has been explained many times previously; "quantitative easing" is just a (despicable) euphemism for the creation of WORTHLESS (and thus fraudulent) currency by our central banks.

Here it is necessary to understand that there can be no such thing as "a little bit" of fraudulent currency, because there is no way to distinguish between the (totally worthless) paper created via "QE", and the slightly more-legitimate/less-worthless paper our central banks were churning out before this.

They have "contaminated" (in monetary/economic terms) ALL of this paper, and thus it is ALL fundamentally worthless. Thus ANY new "QE" should produce massive moves in markets, yet all we see today after the latest euro-fraud are tiny blips.

As a result of both these momentous events; gold has pushed through the manipulation choke-hold (ever so slightly), and has once again regained the utterly meaningless $1300/oz level. Silver is now back to the too-disgusting-to-be-funny price of $18/oz.

What we should be seeing with announcements like this (if we had legitimate markets) are ZERO'S being added to bullion prices with announcements like this (i.e. $13,000/oz for gold, and $180/oz for silver -- as a starter). And these prices should be reflected in ALL of these worthless Western currencies, including the USD.

When the ECB ADVERTISES the worthlessness of the euro with more "QE", it should be a reminder to markets that the Federal Reserve has already made the USD totally worthless -- with its own $trillions of (totally fraudulent) QE. And then on top of that; the Fed has simply COUNTERFEITED countless $trillions of additional "dollars".

Federal Reserve Increases Counterfeiting

However, instead of mega-moves in the prices of precious metals (and many other categories of hard assets), we see these ridiculous, fraudulent mini-moves, where the Criminals PRETEND to "adjust" prices in line with fundamentals. As previously noted; the only way it is even theoretically possible to keep ALL markets in this fraudulent choke-hold is via its Master Trading Algorithm -- which allows it to simultaneously manipulate control all markets.

The gold market continues its trek higher, following the European Central Bank’s monetary policy meeting Thursday and TD Securities says the market has “clearly shifted to a buy dips mentality.” “Gold and silver, have resumed their upward momentum, with gold just above $1300 and silver above $18.30,” TD Securities says. “It is shaping up to be a solid week for both but we still look for some profit taking to emerge ahead of $1305-1320 and $18.60-19.00,” they add. As of 11:34 a.m. EST Comex February gold was trading at $1,302 an ounce, up $8.40 on the day and March silver was trading at $18.360, up 16.7 cents on the day.

The British Royal Mint announced today it is bringing back gold and silver BARS to add to its line of products. This is significant for a very important reason. What do Mints produce? They produce money.

What is Money?

It was already easy to argue that the gold and silver minted coins of these Mints were/are money, because most of them are legal tender currency, money by law. What does it say when a national Mint starts (re)producing gold and silver bars? That gold and silver (in whatever form) are money, period, and do not require the stamp of being "legal tender" to give them that status.

In turn; this affects their status for tax purposes. With their status as money (and currency) further reinforced by this latest announcement; it makes it impossible for our thieving governments to argue that we are holding a "commodity", and thus tax it as such.

As long as we do not "trade" (buy and sell) our gold and silver bullion -- no matter what form -- then it is always MONEY/CURRENCY, and immune to any capital gains taxation, as long as we SPEND IT and don't sell it.

Precious Metals and the Fraud of ‘Capital Gains’

P.S. Note the Snake(s) lurking in the shadows in Kitco's sycophantic reporting.

British Royal Mint Brings Back Gold, Silver Bars After 47-Year Absence

www.kitco.com/news/2015-01-21/British-Ro...47-Year-Absence.html

After a nearly 50-year hiatus, the Royal Mint announced on Wednesday its intention to offer gold and silver bars bearing the mint’s historic refinery brand.

“The Royal Mint is to bring about the return of a world-renowned bullion brand after an absence of 47 years, expanding its bullion range to offer gold and silver minted bars bearing the historic marquee of The Royal Mint Refinery,” said the mint in a press release.

The RMR brand dates back to 1852 and was operated by N.M Rothschild and Sons, the mint said, adding that the brand became a trustworthy name in the bullion market until 1968.

The combined heritage and integrity of the two brands is an added reassurance to customers looking for a cost effective way of buying gold and silver from a trusted source.” ...

Wow! If you really believe that "the U.S. government" is behind global warming science then you really are too far-gone to reach.

Note also that I did not engage in simple name-calling (as you alleged). I said you were "being silly". I did not (and would not) say that you are a "silly" person yourself. I'm sorry if you took offense at that, but I simply have no other vocabulary to use as you reach for these absurd explanations.

There is YEARS AND YEARS of documented evidence of Big Oil paying for totally ridiculed pseudo-science in the early days (when there was still a "debate") which claimed to deny the existence of global warming. And Big Oil is the U.S. government, as we see with its multi-TRILLION dollar Shale Oil Scam.

Are you suggesting that (somewhere along the line) the U.S. government, Big Oil and the BANKSTERS (who control both) "switched sides"????????????????

And how can you reconcile the reckless industrial development of these actors, if they supposedly want to stop what they're doing "to save the environment"? This is all nonsensical.

Clearly if our governments (who rule with a fascist, iron fist) WANTED to implement a pro-global warming agenda, we would already be TWENTY YEARS PAST "debate", and already well into implementation of various, substantive, climate-mitigating policies. Instead, all we see is stalling and window-dressing, as evidenced by the fact that the heating/melting process is still accelerating.

You're the one who wants to have it both ways. On the one hand; we see enormous amounts of propaganda (which could only come from one place) telling us that supposedly global warming doesn't even exist. How vindictive are the psychopaths of the One Bank? Apparently they plan on hounding Edward Snowden to his grave (assuming they don't put him there, themselves), his punishment for doing the right thing.

The latest U.S. persecution (and lies) about Edward Snowden are that the information he leaked about the NSA spying on Americans is somehow responsible for China getting the "plans" for the U.S.'s F-35 fighter jet.

German magazine, Der Spiegel, part of the propaganda machine itself, supposedly "leaked documents" which it (in turn) claimed were part of what had been "leaked" by Snowden. There are (as usual) numerous nonsensical aspects to this latest propaganda. Indeed, more and more of this stuff looks like it comes straight out of "MAD" Magazine.

1) Der Spiegel would never be ALLOWED to "leak" anything of significance. So obviously it's impossible to incriminate Snowden with any attack of this nature, since either (a) the material had already leaked into the public domain, or (b) it was simply no longer of importance (i.e. obsolete).

2) Simply because some media entity says "I got this from Edward Snowden" falls far short of proof, much like if some woman says "I got herpes from Bill Clinton" it doesn't mean it's true -- even though it probably is true for hundreds of women.

I'm going to suggest that vindictive nonsense of this nature actually hurts the banksters more than it could possibly help them (through perhaps intimidating other potential whistleblowers). Certainly this "evidence" isn't going to turn anyone against Edward Snowden who didn't already (mindlessly) believe he was "guilty"...of something.

Conversely, this is such an obvious (and pathetic) set-up directed at Snowden that it MIGHT cause people who had previously been "on the fence" to see the vindictiveness involved here -- and thus finally see the Light.

China calls Snowden's stealth jet hack accusations 'groundless'

www.reuters.com/article/2015/01/19/us-us...dUSKBN0KS0T820150119

(Reuters) - China dismissed accusations it stole F-35 stealth fighter plans as groundless on Monday, after documents leaked by former U.S. intelligence contractor Edward Snowden on a cyber attack were published by a German magazine.

The Pentagon has previously acknowledged that hackers had targeted sensitive data for defense programs such as the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, but stopped short of publicly blaming China for the F-35 breach.

Defense experts say that China's home-grown stealth jets had design elements resembling the F-35.

The Pentagon and the jet's builder, Lockheed Martin Corp, had said no classified information was taken during the cyber intrusion.

German magazine Der Spiegel on Saturday published a cache of Snowden documents, including a top secret U.S. government presentation that said China stole "many terabytes" of data on the F-35 program, including radar designs and engine schematics...

P.S. In what possible way could the UN supposedly "ensure that Prime Minister Harper of Canada is not re-elected"? The UN doesn't even have any INDIRECT means of interfering with Canada's electoral process. It makes no sense on several levels.

Jeff Nielson, Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Re: Swiss Franc’s Value Soars in the forums.
P.S. It just occurred to me that while I did "cover" Jim Willie with my reply that I forgot to discuss the topic of conversation: the Swiss franc.

Part of the reason for this omission is that I will be writing a commentary on this subject, as there are definitely analytical issues here which need to be reviewed.

As with my recent post on Russia cutting-off the gas; we see the propaganda machine (and even some parts of the Alternative Media treating this as a "surprise" or a "shock". One area where Jim Willie was bang-on with his own take is that Switzerland was going to be forced to do this (very soon), and thus rather than being surprising it was/is an EXPECTED development.

Here people need to understand that "pegging" a currency is an explicit act of market-manipulation, as the only way in which one can artificially maintain a FIXED EXCHANGE RATE (in a world of "floating" markets) is through overt -- and often heavy-handed -- market manipulation.

In the case of a currency-peg; the manipulation is simple. You BUY the currency you want to prop-up. In this case; it was Switzerland's government loading up on hundreds of BILLIONS euros, in order to keep the (much stronger) franc from steadily appreciating against the worthless euro.

Of course; one can't keep BUYING (anything) forever. With the euro always weaker, and the franc always stronger; sooner or later the artificial peg (and constant market-manipulation) would have to end. That's what we see today.

But there are also a lot of "finer points" to make in terms of this development, and (as always) such fine-points can be made much more coherently within the format of a formal commentary...

Jeff Nielson created a new topic Russia cuts gas to Europe in the forums.
Readers have pointed me toward a couple of items in the economic news, and since you all generally have a good "nose for news"; I figured it was time for me to roll up my sleeves and get to work. First on the agenda is Russia's "sudden", "surprise" decision to cut-off gas to six Western European nations.

Of course the first point to make here is that this is neither sudden, nor a surprise. Indeed, as I'll argue in an upcoming commentary; the U.S. has essentially forced Russia into doing this. It's not surprising, since obviously if the West continues to aggressively/malicious attack Russia's economy with various acts of economic terrorism; as a simple act of self-defense, Russia was/is required to retaliate at some point. And it's not "sudden"; since Putin has frequently warned that cutting-off gas supplies was one of the specific counter-measures at his disposal.

However, it's when we look at the timing of Putin's move that we see the difference between the chess-player and the psychopath; as illustrated by the commentary recently posted by Earl (and previously posted somewhere else, by someone else - lol).

Grandmaster Putin’s Trap

If Putin was a psychopath, like the Rothschilds (and most of their 'pets' in the U.S. government); he would have lashed-out immediately after the West's sanctions were put in place, since that is how the mind of the psychopath operates ("retaliate, retailiate, retaliate"). Indeed, to we can perfectly illustrate this principle with four key-strokes: 9/11.

Conversely, the mind of the chess-player operates at a more-sophisticated (and calmer) level than the psychopath. When the chess-player is attacked, he (or she) does not simply blindly retaliate, as a reflex action. The chess-player firsts asks the question: WHEN is the best time to retaliate?

Clearly that "time" is now, for several reasons. Near (at?) the top of the list is the fact that two of the U.S.'s largest (so-called) "partners" and allies in Europe -- France and Italy -- have publicly gone 'wobbly' on sanctions against Russia. Indeed; as first suggested by Debsyl, very likely the latest "terrorism" in France was the U.S.'s way of "sending a message" -- after it's P.M. strongly suggested the sanctions should be lifted.

Now, after France and Italy have gone wobbly, after the U.S. launched a 'terrorist' attack on France, after Russia has formed its own "trading bloc" (and invited European nations to join); we see Russia finally 'turning the screws'. Is this what finally causes the U.S.'s alliance-of-coercion (and blackmail) to begin to fall apart...???

P.S. What a surprise the last-minute negotiations failed -- with Ukraine's fascist Thugs acting as the go-betweens here.

Europe faces gas shortage as Russia cuts Ukraine supply after talks fail

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europ...fter-talks-fail.html

Ukraine fails to broker an 11th-hour deal with Russia, causing Moscow to effectively halts all shipments from Monday morning

Europe is facing gas supply disruptions after Ukraine failed to broker an 11th-hour deal with Russia in a feud that has stoked the worst East-West crisis since the Cold War.

Ukraine hosted the last-gasp talks hoping to keep an energy shortage from compounding the new pro-Western leaders’ problems as they confront a two-month separatist insurgency threatening the very survival of their ex-Soviet state.

But Russia’s state gas firm Gazprom said it had switched Ukraine to a prepayment system at 7am UK time – a move that effectively halts all shipments because Kiev has not forwarded any money for future gas deliveries to Moscow.

“If we receive no prepayment by 10:00am (0700 BST), then we obviously will deliver no gas,” official Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kuprianov told AFP.

Gazprom added in a statement issued once the deadline had passed that “according to (our) provisional invoice, no payments for June were received.”...

T/A, I will always view materials of this nature as pure disinformation. That doesn't mean that I want to stop people from posting items like this, or other materials which might be disinformation. Just because such materials are (arguably) lies does not mean we don't need to be exposed to those lies -- to monitor such disinformation.

Very simply; if there was some cabal devoted to "New World Order" mythology, there would never be documents of this nature, because no one exposed to such (detailed) "planning" would ever betray that confidence.

Secondly, if there was a genuine, active, conspiracy to produce a "New World Order", planning in such great detail would not occur until AFTER the "One World Government" had been established. It's simply nothing but 'mental masturbation' to "plan" an overhaul of our societies this all-encompassing unless/until they were in position to execute those plans.

Lastly, if you simply look at the ultra-extreme items on this supposed "list"; what we're seeing is either a cynical Disinformation Artists simply fabricating anything-and-everything he could think of which would alarm people. OR, we have one of the Psychopaths themselves simply constructing some hypothetical "wish list". Either way; not even a (serious) cabal of psychopaths would formulate such a cartoon-like agenda. It's not realistic, even for a "One World Government".

It's hard enough for a few dozen Psychopaths (and several million Thug henchmen) to try to control 7 billion people. It's absolutely impossible to do so if the Psychopaths spend all their days implementing programs which will cause the 7 billions to riot in the streets.

Lastly, we know this is just Disinformation, because it is just Western-centric gobbledy-gook. They would have ZERO possibility of ever creating such a One World Government for much of the world, because if you look at the "agenda", it clearly implies a FULLY-INDUSTRIALIZED SOCIETY, when most of the world's population live in quasi-rural peasant societies.

In other words; before such an "agenda" could ever be executed, not only would the Psychopaths have to seize global power (could never happen); they would have to spend 50 years INDUSTRIALIZING parts of the world where they have previously (deliberately) stunted most industrial development.

If you view this disinformation with a truly global perspective, it's impossible to look at materials like this as anything other than cartoon-like.

Precious Metals and the Fraud of ‘Capital Gains’

www.sprottmoney.com/news/precious-metals...on-sprott-money-news

There are many ways in which our corrupt governments, and the Corporate media (which acts as their parrot) seek to undermine and persecute those who acquire and hold precious metals. Two of their most-loathsome habits concern precious metals and taxation.

The Corporate media regularly lies about how the principles of taxation apply to precious metals. This is generally for the purpose of frightening people away from gold and silver. Our governments regularly assess illegal taxes against gold and silver, as this is an indirect means of stealing our gold and silver...

I understand those sentiments entirely Debsyl. Similarly; I don't even try to explain specific "events" when talking with the Zombies. It's simply impossible to lead them all the way from the official propaganda to reality. At most; I'll simply attempt to convey the occasional Big Picture conclusion.

For those trying to reach any of the Zombies in their own "world"; I suggest that you DON'T try to "explain" specific events, specific news, or specific "statistics". When you approach truth-telling in that manner (by allowing the Liars to frame the paradigm); you put yourself at a tremendous disadvantage -- because (as noted before) you are going up against literally the best Liars that money can buy.

Rather; you're much better off to simply present something which YOU can explain on your own. Maybe it will be the five-fold increase in the U.S. monetary base (along with familiar chart), and how that MUST produce hyperinflation.

Maybe it will be explaining that after a supposed "six-year recovery", where Barack the Liar claimed to "create 6 million NEW jobs", that there are 3 million less people working in the U.S. today?

It's best to take ONE Truth/statistic which you can demonstrate (preferably with a revealing "picture", i.e. chart, to go along with it) and TRY to communicate that. It will never be possible to debunk some particular event (like the recent false-flag event in France) and "explain" that to a Zombie.

But in this case, no offense, but you fell on your face. In this case you presented us with an American Pie (tm) "this one time in band camp" story, with out:
1. proof
2. sound argument
3. any idea on how to fix the alleged problem

And then expect me to line up behind you because of the great works you have done in other areas. I'm sorry, but I don't work that way.

Especially when the evidence that I've seen points me in the opposite conclusion, which is that the One Bank is behind the theory of Man Made Global Warming and that they have some agenda for it.

Now I'm not saying that Man-kind isn't influencing global temps, nor that global temps aren't changing. What I am saying is that what the UN, world-wide governments, and the mainstream media is claiming is occuring is in fact not occurring (at least not at the pace that they are trying to say it is).

There is just to much government hysteria, too much government paid "scientific" studies, too much government agenda, and then we get into such things as "Carbon Tax Credits".

Remember that Carbon Tax Credits will in fact have little to no effect on world-wide CO2 emissions, but rather re-distribute who gets to emit CO2 (and who has to pay fines). In other words, it's yet another way to move industry from places such as the US to third world countries where, surprise surprise, labor is cheaper (and I'm sure you can guess at other reasons).

Now Jeff, when you can write up something along the lines of how you showed me what the "One Bank" was, or even what "good money" is, then we are in for the starts of a good discussion.

PS. The reason I keep saying Man Made Global Warming is that I'm specifying that as a definable phrase, meaning that specifically Mankind is having a profound effect on global warming (ie. easily measurable on a yearly/decade scale) and that it can be proven that it is in fact directly due to mankind (ie. not a volcano erupting, not due to natural changes in weather patterns, not due to changes in solar patterns, not due to natural changes in CO2 (and other gases) concentrations). Let me be clear that it's been shown that over time of years, that the weather does warm and cool on a global scale (ie. In the medieval period wine was made locally via vineyards in England, which was called the "Medieval Warm Period" and I'm sure that no one here will claim that Mankind caused that "global warming").

RRoush, I'll acknowledge some of your reasoning here, but other parts are off-base.

...in this case, no offense, but you fell on your face. In this case you presented us with an American Pie (tm) "this one time in band camp" story, with out:
1. proof

Not correct. I did not provide you with VERIFIABLE "proof", but rather my own, personal testimony. I consider this to be "proof" based upon the credibility I have earned (especially on my own website). If my personal credibility is not of such a degree that when I say "something happened" (in absolutely unequivocal terms) that people do not believe it, then we have a problem.

This form of "proof" is known as "eye-witness testimony". Just imagine how our criminal justice system would function (i.e. not function) if eye-witness testimony was no longer considered "proof".

2. sound argument

This is simply wrong. I provided you with a tautology, the best kind of proof there is. The fact that you won't accept this proof (and apparently deny the existence of tautologies) does not mean that this isn't a "sound argument".

3. any idea on how to fix the alleged problem

This is simply silly. You won't accept "global warming" as an issue unless I, someone with no science background, can tell you how to fix it???

Maybe if the sane people in our societies hadn't spent HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF HOURS trying to persuade those who have been brainwashed about the LEGITIMACY of global warming, we could have spent those hundreds of millions of hours talking about solutions.

It is the Obstructionists (and those who follow them) and ONLY the Obstructionists who are 100% responsible for our societies NOT already being 100% focused on solutions (or at least partial solutions).

And note that any time anyone tries to talk about "solutions" the lying by the Obstructionists gets even more silly/extreme -- i.e. the million-and-one "carbon tax-credit" conspiracy theories FABRICATED by the Disinformation Artists.

If you've ever visited "Infowars" (even once), then you know exactly what I'm talking about there...

No RRoush, this is one of the most-important points of logic which I stress again and again. It is IRRELEVANT if "most" of the global warming is natural. Let me repeat this again, because no matter how many times I say it, it does not sink in.

IT IS IRRELEVANT IF MOST OF OUR "GLOBAL WARMING" IS NATURAL.

The principle of logic here is one which we all learned as children, via the cliche:

The straw that breaks the camel's back.

All of the previous straw piled atop the camel's back is (logically) IRRELEVANT with respect to the issue of over-loading the camel. It is the last, additional straw which is the only "straw" of significance. With respect to "overloading" our environment; it's the MAN-MADE damage which separates a "problem" from a "catastrophe".

Maybe 50% of global warming is natural, and 50% is man-made. Maybe 99% of climate-change is natural, and only 1% is man-made. Even in the latter, extreme example (which is unlikely to be true) it STILL could be that "1%" that causes the climate catastrophe.

Here you have the choice of listening to honest, sincere SCIENTISTS, or compulsive Liars.

And here we see the media censorship of the Fascists who rule us start to get HEAVY-HANDED.

What is the excuse which YouTube has used for removing the SGT Report clip which showed how/why (from a visual standpoint) the Paris "terrorism" was (at least in part) more STAGED "terrorism" -- i.e. theater? According to YouTube it was removed for its "shocking and disgusting content", even though (as Dylan has previously pointed out) the video footage shows a French police officer (a supposed "victim") NOT BEING SHOT.

Thus we now have the Fascists inventing false pretexts in order to censor news which exposes their lies. Of course this isn't the first time we've witnessed heavy-handed censorship. I'm sure many Members/readers recall how only about a year earlier; independent videographer "BigDad", who interviewed me on many occasions, had his YouTube page DELETED -- by order of the Department of Homeland Security.

I say, once again, that any who consider my characterization of these regimes as "fascist" to be inappropriate or overly-extreme; take another look around you. Media censorship is one of the most-obvious behavior patterns of fascist regimes, particularly those which pretend to be "democracies".

How do you cover-up the fact that such regimes no longer remotely resemble democracies? Media censorship. We WILL see more of this. Indeed, we cannot rule-out massive or complete internet censorship, at some point.

People need to consider how they would access (LEGITIMATE) information, in post-internet societies...

Indeed Micjer. And the ultimate illustration of this sort of (idiotic) "convenience" is/was 9/11.

Though the U.S. government (and its military) was supposedly "unable to prevent the attack" (like Pearl Harbor); within hours of the crash they claimed to be able to definitively identify EVERY "terrorist" involved with the hijackings. The fact that the U.S. government could produce all those names so quickly is simply proof that they were CONNECTED to the "terrorists", and thus CONNECTED to the "terrorism" itself.

And we see this with all of this pseudo-terrorism. Most of the time they "prevent" attacks (so they tell us), which isn't difficult, since they're the ones PLANNING such "attacks". But even when they can't "prevent" attacks; they ALWAYS produce names (and photographs) of the alleged "terrorists" with lightning speed.

It's part of the problem with being psychopaths, and compulsive liars. They're so EAGER to "present the evidence" of the latest false-flag event that they never wait long enough to make their supposed "investigations" credible. They always know too much, too soon.
